7/3 - Trip To E.D

Another trip to the emergency department for me today, for another bleed. This one they could actually explain which is pretty cool, it turns out that I have an infection and that I am running a bit of a temperature. No wonder I haven't complained of being cold today, especially considering we were sitting in the shade at the park.

I am quite impressed with how fast I was seen to today, I don't think that it was every that fast with Maddie. I think from being triaged to getting a bed was only about 20 minutes and then I had, had a scan and bloods taken about ten minutes later. Its the hour waiting for blood results that takes the longest, and knowing bub was fine, I felt terrible taking up a bed and curtained area knowing that there were 3 other people lined up in the corridor waiting a real bed. Despite me offering to either swap to a corridor bed, or go to the waiting room to wait for my results they kept me resting the whole time.

Thankfully the Morgan's are here so they took care of Maddie with Claire and Jacky while I took myself off to the hospital. It was so much easier not worrying about a tired, hungry and bored three year old there. Thanks guys.
