4/3 - Bye Bye Hormone Treatment, Bad Parking And Early Morning Peak Hour Driving

Today was a big day of appointments for me, thankfully Nanna was here to look after Maddie so that I didn't have to drag her along. Firstly I had my last appointment at the fertility clinic for one last blood test, to check that my Progesterone levels are ok now that I am finally off the supplements, I will not be missing them!! While I will miss the team at the clinic, especially as I was spoilt with Doctors on call who actually knew what they were talking about, I am thinking good riddance to the ridiculous parking that they have there. Thankfully it was a super quick visit and I managed to get to The Canberra Hospital in time for my liver clinic appointment which was a waste of time as they wont look at anything while I am pregnant.

After waiting an hour in the new Women's ward to get booked into Antenatal my last appointment finally started. The poor midwife doing all my paperwork didn't have her own office, or anything that she needed to actually book me in, so it was a very un-organised appointment that will be finished when I go back at 20 weeks. Thankfully I had this appointment early on, as it was picked up that non of my pregnancy blood screening tests had been done, as I thought the clinic had done it, as did the 3 different doctors that I have seen in the last few weeks. The pathology lab must be the only department in the hospital that hasn't had major renovations or moved as they were the most organised part of my trip.
